Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.5°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 18.7°C recorded at Pilani (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 4: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 4: Mainly clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34°C and 23°C, respectively.
