Monsoon has been vigorous in Himachal.
Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm, are: Haryana: Ambala 9 and Naraingarh 6, Himachal Pradesh, Kangra 8, Kandaghat 5, Nadaun and Paonta 3 each, Sujanpurtira 2 and Guler, Ghamroor and Sunibhaji 1 each, East Rajasthan: Bassi, Galiakot, Sagwara and Sabla 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sangaria 1 and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun and Srinagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 24: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
