Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, at many places in Punjab, at a few places in East Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in West Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chandigarh 4, Karnal 3 and Ambala and Naraingarh 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Nagrotasurian 9, Guler 7, Sujanpurtira 5, Khairi, Nahan and Nadaun 3 each, Rampurbushahar and Shimla 2 each and Bhuntar, Ghamroor, Pandoh, Sunibhaji and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 4, Basoli, Quazigund and Srinagar 2 each and Banihal and Bhaderwah 1 each, Punjab: Patiala 7, Madhopur 5 and Nangal, Ropar, Shahpurkandi and Tibri 1 each, East Rajasthan: Udaipur A.P. 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Mukhlishpur 6, Kakardharighat 3, Bhinga, Chillaghat and Hamirpur 2 each and Chandradeepghat 1, West Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 4 and Sarsawa and Shahjina 2 each and Uttaranchal: Kalagarh 13, Pantnagar 11, Srinagar 9, Haridwar 8, Marora and Tehri 7 each, Dehra Dun and Uttarkashi 6 each, Banbasa and Rishikesh 5 each and Rudraprayag 2.
