Rainfall:
Thundershowers have occurred at most
places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh,at a few places in west Rajasthan, west UP and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Panipat 3, New Delhi (Palam) 2 and Ayanagar, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Faridabad, Jind, Jhajjar,Kaithal, Loharu, New Delhi (Safdarjung) and Uchana 1 each,Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi, Patsio and Solangnala 3 each,Bhang, Dehragopipur, Guler, Ghamroor and Nagrotasurian 2 each and Chamba and Nadaun 1 each, Punjab: Jallandhar 18,Kapurthala 4, Amritsar and Tibri 3 each and Pathankot 1,East Rajasthan: Danpur 19, Kesarpura 18, Banswara 11, Bhungra 10, Ghatol 9, Dhambola, Galiakot and Shergarh 8 each, Arthuna 7, Garhi and Jagpura 6 each, Alwar 5,Bagidora 4, Arnod, Baran, Bhim, Chaksu, Kanba and Nimbahera 3 each, Anta, Amer, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Jayal, Nawan,Pahari and Sagwara 2 each and Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur and Jhalawar 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sadulpur 4, Tarangar 2 andBhopalgarh and Sardarshahar 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh:Chillaghat, Mirzapur and Varanasi AP 1 each, West UttarPradesh: Jhansi 3 and Agra and Hindon 1 each and Uttaranchal: Bosan and Haripur 2 each and Joshimath, Kalagarh, Marora and Srinagar 1 each.
