Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, at many places in Rajasthan, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Haryana: Hisar 10, Ayanagar and New Delhi (Palam) 9 each, Jind and Pehowa 8 each, Nuh, Narwana and Uchana 7 each, Bhiwani, Gurgaon and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 6 each, Delhi Ridge, Nilokheri, Pataudi, Rohtak and Thanesar 5 each, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Guhla, Gohana, Julana and Jagadhari 4 each, Bawal, Berikhas, Bahadurgarh, Chhachhrauli, Jhajjar and Kharkhoda 3 each; Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi 4, Bhang and Solangnala 3 each, Chamba 2 and Bangana, Bhuntar, Dehragopipur, Guler, Kandaghat, Patsio and Una 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Bhoond 1; Punjab: Kapurthala 8, Batala and Nawanshahar 3 each, Ludhiana and Shahpurkandi 2 each and Amritsar, Patiala and Ropar 1 each; East Rajasthan: Railmogra 6, Ajmer, Mavli and Udaipur AP 5 each, Kesharpura, Makrana, Nathdwara and Sikar 4 each, Behror, Bharatpur, Deeg, Nadbai, Pushkar, Sallopat and Udaipur City 3 each, Arthuna, Kotkasim, Mangliwas and Pilani 2 each and Dholpur 1; West Rajasthan: Lunkaransar 5, Nokh 3, Bikaner and Sardarshahar 2 each and Jaitran and Rajgarh 1 each; East Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur and Phaphamau 1 each; West Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 4, Sarsawa 3 and Fatehgarh 1 and Uttaranchal: Rishikesh 2 and Joshimath 1.
