Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Kalka and Panchkula 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 9, Guler 6, Nagrotasurian 2 and Kasol 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3, Punjab: Shahpurkkandi 4, Madhopur 2 and Ranjitsagar Dam 1, east Rajasthan: Dholpur 9, Mavli and Railmogra 6 each, Bari, Chittorgarh, Nathdwara and Vallabhnagar 5 each, Beir, Badnore, Malerna Dungar and Pirawa 4 each, Anta, Ajmer, Bayana, Kishanganj, Rajsamand, Shahbad and Udaipur AP 3 each, Asind, Bawanwas, Gyangarh, Karera, Mangrol and Raipur 2 each and Banera, Chomu, Kotputli and Shahpura 1 each, west Rajasthan: Chetran 3, Bilara 2 and Dungargarh, Lunkaransar and Raipur 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Neemsar 5, Chillaghat 4, Hanumansetu, Lucknow control room and Mirzapur 3 each, Allahabad 2 and Banda, Kanpur and Varanasi city 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 6, Agra 4, Ankinghat, Etawah and sarsawa 2 each and Auraiya, Jhansi and Kalpi 1 each and Uttaranchal: Haridwar 7, Pantnagar 6, Haripur 3, Dehradun, Joshimath, Kalagarh, Rishikesh and Tehri 1 each.
