Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in Uttar Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are Haryana: Ambala 3 and Ayanagar 1, Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi, Nadaun and Pandoh 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 2 and Bhadarwah 1, Punjab: Ludhiana 2, East Rajasthan: Danpur 10, Mount Abu 8, Ghatol and Sunel 7 each, Kishanganj, Pachpahar and Sajjangarh 6 each, Kushalgarh, Reodar, Sirohi and Todaraisingh 5 each, Dug and Kotda 4 each, Anta, Arnod, Bari Sadri, Baran, Choti Sadri, Chipaboard, Garhi, Gangdhar, Khanpur, Loharia, Pidawa, Rasmi, Shahbad, Sallopat, Shahpura and Viratnagar 3 each, Aburoad, Banswara, Chhabra, Choth ka barware, Dungla, Galiakot, Ganeshpur, Hindoli, Indergarh, Kesharpura, Kotri, Mangrol, Mandrayal, Manohar thana, Pipalda, Pipalkhunt, Sagwara, Sawar, Sangod and Sakargarh 2 each and Aklera, Atru, Aspur, Bakani, Badesar, Bhungra, Bagidora, Chikli, Gangrar, Jhalawar, Kherwara, Malpura, Mavli, Nithuwa, Pindwara, Pratapgarh and Sambhar 1 each, West Rajasthan: Raniwara 6, Jaswantpura 3, Bhinmal 2 and Chotan 1 and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 10, Tehri 5 and Banbasa 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 3: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rain with isolated very heavy falls is likely in Rajashan during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely in Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 3: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain/thundershowers in some areas.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of August 3: Light to moderate rain will occur at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
