Monsoon has been active in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and to isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh 5, Ambala 4, Chandigarh 3 and Ayanagar and Kalka 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 6, Nagrotasurian and Rampurbushahar 4 each, Dharampur, Kandaghat, Kasauli, Solan and Shimla 3 each, Bangana, Berthin, Pandoh, Paonta and Sunibhaji 2 each and Ghamroor 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 7 and Jammu 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 18: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
