Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at many places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Haryana: Rania 8, Hissar 7, Sirsa 6 and Ayanagar 1, Himachal Pradesh: Bhang, Dharampur and Kasauli 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 6, Batote and Jammu 5 each, Banihal 3 and Quazigund 2, Punjab: Amritsar and Raya 5 each, Ferozepore 3 and Ludhiana 1, East Rajasthan: Roopwas 4, Bhopalsagar, Mangral and Sar Mathura 2 each and Asind, Atru, Bani, Badesar, Chhabra, Chhipabroad, Kapasan, Kishanganj, Malakhera, Neemrana, Neem ka thana, Nimbahera, Pahari, Shahbad ad Sheoanj 1 each, West Rajasthan: Bhadra 4, Bali and Nahar 3 each and Bilara, Bagoda, Jodhpur, Pachpadra, Rohat, Sumerpur, Sojat, Siwana and Sindri 1 each East Uttar Pradesh: Mirzapur 4.
