Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.
Temperature:
Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 45.4ºC recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 18: Mainly clear sky with possibiity of dust storm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 42C.
