Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were normal over the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 43.1°C recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 15: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Punjab. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of May 15: Mainly clear sky with possiblity of thundry development accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 41°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of May 15: Development of thunderclouds is likely in some areas. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 km/h is likely at isolated places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
