Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Rajasthan and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 1, east Rajasthan: Udaipur AP 2, West Rajasthan: Jaisalmer 4 and Jodhpur 1 and Uttaranchal: Pantnagar and Tehri 1 each.

Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in west Rajasthan, rose in Haryana, Punjab and east Rajasthan, fell markedly in east Uttar Pradesh, fell in west Uttar Pradesh and Utaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

They were largely below normal in Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, below normal in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The higher maximum temperature in the region was 39°C recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan).
