Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: This was markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 41.7°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 21: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 21: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 39°C. Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast vald until the morning of April 21: Sky will be mainly clear.
