Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 38.1° C recorded at Varanasi AP (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 11.0C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 1: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
