Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, fell in Uttaranchal, rose in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: These were appreciably below normal in east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 4.9°C recorded at Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 25: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 25: Partly cloudy sky. Minimum temperature will be around 10°C.
