Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were below normal in West Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 1: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Uttaranchal and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in Rejasthan.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain/snow is likely in Uttaranchal during the next 24 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 1: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 07°C.
