Govt Pensioners Association demands more facilities

The Government Pensioners Association has demanded more facilities for its members. It has appealed to the Finance Minister to incorporate some benefits for the retired persons in the ensuing Budget.
Dharna against poor

Some residents here today staged a dharna in protest against the accumulation of sewer water outside their houses.
Led by Ms Satwant Kaur, all residents of street number 6, Krishna Nagar, raised slogans against the Municipal Council, Khanna. They said everytime rain water accumulated on the main road here and other streets also.
BKU seeks action against urea hoarders
