The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Shimla 3, Solan and Sunibhaji 2 each and Bhuntar, Paonta and Rampur Bushahr 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Bahraich 2 and Sultanpur 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 1 and Uttaranchal: Mukteshwar 3, Tehri 2 and Dehra Dun and Pantnagar 1 each.
