Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.5°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of 14th December 2004: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 14th December 2004: Mainly clear sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
