36 institutions owe Rs 34 cr to PUDA
Mohali, December 6
At least 36 institutions here owe a whopping Rs 34 crore to the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) here. According to PUDA officials, as many as 36 defaulting institutions have been issued notices to pay up the pending amounts failing which legal action would be initiated against them.

Clinics not treating waste, says board

Certain nursing homes in the town are allegedly throwing bio-medical waste in the open without treating. The issue was discussed in the first-ever meeting of the regional environment grievance committee meeting of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board held recently.

French course at Chandi Mandir
