Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhuntar 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote and Katra 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, rose in Haryana and changed little elsewhere, Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, appreciably above normal in Punjab and Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.5°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 3rd: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana and Punjab and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
