Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and
