Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.2°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Departure: The temperature in the plains was 14.0°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 22: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
