Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: East Uttar Pradesh: Bansi and Kakardharighat 3 each.
Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere.
Departure: They were normal over the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.2°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere.
Departure: They were above normal in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17.6°C recorded at Amritsar.
