Punjab Ratan Award for Pathak

Dr K.N. Pathak, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, was conferred Punjab Ratan Award at the All-India Conference of Intellectuals held at Bhargava Auditorium, PGI here today.

Author of more than 123 research papers in international journals, Prof Pathak has a distinguished track record spanning over 35 years of teaching of physics in India and abroad.

A founder member of Society for Scientific Values, Dr Pathak was conferred Meghnad Saha Award in 1996.

The other awardees include Dr K.K. Talwar, Director, PGI, Dr R.P. Bajpai, Director, CSIO, Ms Kamlesh, Mayor, Mr Joginder Pal Singla, MC president Gobindgarh, and Mr S.K.I. Sinha, Principal Secretary, Home (Punjab).

The Haryana Ratan awardees include Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MP, Dr Ram Prakash, former Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kurukshetra, Mr Rajinder Nath, Mr Rajeev Gulati, Mr Adesh Gupta, and Mr Ashok Aggarwal.
