65 fire incidents in April, farmers suffer losses

Incidents of fire during this harvesting season, have, reportedly, led to huge losses to farmers in the district.
More than 90 farmers in the district have suffered losses of around Rs two crore as standing (wheat) crop got burnt and agricultural machines and husk got damaged in incidents of fire.

Sonepat residents continue to reel under water crisis

The water crisis in Sonepat continues unabated since the curtailment of the water supply from the main waterworks at Murthal by the Public Health Department. To make matter worse, it was done with without any prior announcement.

Three persons killed in road accidents
Ghaziabad, May 4
Two persons were killed in separate road accidents under the Sahibabad police station. In another accident, a youth fell off the foothold of a running bus in Dholana and was killed.
