IF you are a grilled food freak, head for FHR this weekend. Kebab & Mocktail Festival is on for 2 days — May 1 and 2. Eclectic combination of mouth watering kebabs and exotic mocktails is a match made in heaven.

Extensive selection of kebabs is on offer. Culinary artistes of FHR have ‘kebabed’ almost every meat, vegetables, and paneer. The menu carries an extensive variety, which will leave every one spell bound. (Tandoori tikkas, tandoori shiekh kebabs, nawabo ke kebab, reshmi kebab, beaara kebab, kalmi kebaba, tangri kebaba, pakhtooni kebab, etc). There is more to kebabs than just meat. The food festival offers a selection of kebabs for vegetarians too (Paneer tikka, tandoori aloo, mushroom tikka, hariale tikka, malmal tikka, etc). Those who think that kebabs for vegetarians begin and end with paneer are in for a surprise, as this festival offers some very delectable and unique dishes.

The secret of a good kebab remains in the marination with proper spices and cooking of the meat/ vegetables/ paneer to right perfection. Several marinates including curds, masalas, cream and cheese have been used.

There are rotis, nans and dal makhani to go with them.

The experience of eating kebabs has been heightened with mocktails. There is an exotic variety available of fruity frosty summer mocktails… punches…(Fruit punch, pinna calada, blue lagoon, etc.). Delicious, refreshing and fun, you can drink these and not worry about a buzz.

Enjoy your treat in the lovely ambience of lush green grass and soothing music. — TNS
