2 held, 12 cases registered for defacement

Two persons were arrested while 12 cases registered under the Defacement of Public Property Act, 1997 at various police stations of the city yesterday against unknown persons for pasting posters of various political parties.

23 city students clear PMT (Prelim)

2 murder accused acquitted

The Additional Sessions Judge, Mr S.M.S.Mahal, has acquitted Kailash Parshad(57), his son Viney Parshad(26), both residents of Dhandari Kalan, in a murder case, as the prosecution could not prove the allegations levelled against them. they were facing the charge of murdering a person, Majnu, in June, 2001.
