New Delhi, February 17 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, rose in Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab). Forecast valid until the morning of February 19: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 19: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas. Mist in the morning.
