New Delhi, February 8
Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.0°C recorded at Ambala A.P. (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 10: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 10: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Likely to become partly cloudy later. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of February 10: Sky will be partly cloudy.
