Rainfall:
Weather was mainly dry over the region.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed a little. Departures: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37.6°C recorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departures; They were appreciably below normal in Punjab, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 19: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 19: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34°C and 18°C respectively.
