Moonsoon has been vigorous in west Uttar Pradesh and active in east Rajasthan.
Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Palwal 1, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 3, Dhundhi, Nahan and Solan 2 each and Bhang, Dharampur, kasauli, Shimla and Solangnala 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 1, East Rajasthan: Asnawar, Bairatha, Kaman and Rajakhera 4 each, Bayana, Deeg, Sikri, Sevalahead and Uchain 3 each, Bharatur,Gopalpura, Jhalawar, Jwaharsagar, Kathumer,Kishanganj, Manoherthana, Nadbai, Piploo and Umedsagar 2 each and Arnia, Govindgarh, Nagar, Sanganer and Sawaimadhopur 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Etwah 10, Auriya 8, Fatehgarh and Kanpur 7 each, Ankinghat 4, Allahabad and Chillaghat 3 each, Dalmau 2 and Varanasi A.P. 1, West Uttar Pradesh: Mohana 13, Kalp 11, Dabri and Narora 7 each and Bareilly and Shahjina 3 each and Uttaranchal: Haripur 4 and Marora 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of Septemebr 13: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
