Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Nuh 7, Jhajjar 6, Berikhas 5, Ayanagar and Kalka 4 each, Bawal and Bahadurgarh 3 each, Hathin, Rewari and Sampla 2 each and Bhiwani, Faridabad and Rohtak 1 each. Punjab: Patiala 3, East Rajasthan: Asnawar and Bhimsagar 7 each, Deeg 6, Bayana, Bansur, Raipur, Rainbasera, Silisad and Tizara 5 each, Jhalawar and Sikrai 4 each, Atru, Bandikui, Behror, Govindgarh, Kathumer, Laxmangarh and Veir 3 each and Baran, Chittorgarh, Kaman, Nagar and Talabshahi 2 each, West Rajasthan: Taranagar 6 and Churu 3, East Uttar Pradesh: Ballia 8, Palliakalan 7, Chillaghat 5, Kakrahi 4, Etawah 3, Ankinghat and Khadda 2 each and Balmikinagar, Chhatnag and Mirzapur 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 8 and Bareilly, Mohana, Mathura and Narora 1 each and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 2 and Haripur 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 3: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
