Monsoon has been active in Uttaranchal. Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Kalka and Loharu 4 each, Ayanagar 2 and Masani Barriage 1, Himachal Pradesh:Ghamroor 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 2, Punjab: Nangal 3 and Fazilka 2, East Rajasthan: Ramganj Mandi 3, Kekri, Mozamabad and Sarwar 2 each and Beawar, Banswara, Jhalawar, Pipalda, Ramgarh and Sambher 1 each, West Rajasthan: Bikaner and Taranagar 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Kakardharighat 4, Banda and Palliakalan 2 each and Allahabad and Shardanagar 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 7, Dehradun 6, Banbasa 4, Hardwar and Mukteshwar 2 each and Pantnagar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 31: Rain or thudnerhsowers will occur at many places in east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
