The monsoon has been vigorous in west Rajasthan and active in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh.The chief amounts of rainfall in mm are: Haryana: Masani Barrage 8, Hisar 7, Sirsa 4 and Ambala, Bhiwnai,Dadri Toye, Jind, Rewari and Rohtak 1 each, Himachal Pradesh:Shimla 2 and Berthin, Nadaun, Nagrotasurian, Paonta and Una 1 each, Punjab: Adampur 5, Amritsar, Bathinda and Nangal 2 each and Patiala 1, east Rajasthan: Nathdwara and Rashmi 8 each, Meza Dam, Uchain and Veir 7 each, Kothari and Sambher 6 each, Galwania, Nimbahera and Shawlidam 5 each, Ajan, Chapanvada, Govindgarh, Ghambhiridam, Kathumer, Matrikundia, Sandeshar and Tonk 4 each,Abhaypura, Bassi, Chandrabhaga, Hindoli, Indergarh, Pratapgarh and Raipur 3 each, Bundi Bhilwara, Chandsen, Chittorgarh and Todaraisingh 2 each and Bharatpur, Mozamabad, Pilani and Viratnagar 1 each, west Rajasthan: Taranagar 7, Ratangarh 5, Rajgarh 3, Churu 2 and Sujangarh 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Palliakalan 8, Katerniaghat and Shardanagar 6 each, Turtipar 4, Ballia 3, Allahabad 2 and Bhatpurwaghat, Birdghat, Bahraich, Chillaghat and Mirzapur 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 3 and Bareilly 2 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 9, Pantnagar 7, Rudraprayag 5 , Dehra Dun 2 and Hardwar and Uttarkashi 1 each.
