‘See-through’ rakhis
Our Correspondent

Ludhiana, August 10
Teachers of Lovely Lotus Nursery School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, decided to give a surprise to the students. They prepared rakhis based on shapes. Harry Potter, Teddy-bear, Matrix, Superman, Spiderman rakhis are a craze with kids this season, but surely the rakhis through which you can peep provide novelty.

Kids loved the idea and readily offered to model them. The bright colours of the rakhis and bits of mirrors put on them had made very attractive. Star rakhis with satin ribbons were tied to the wrist of every child, which bore th message of school emblem of ‘love, light and power’.

The teachers’ efforts to strengthen the kid’s knowledge of shapes through these method went down well with the kids. Chocolates were given to all the children and girls, too, sported rakhis, proving, the point that if need be, they, too could protect brothers.
