Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in mm are: Haryana: New Delhi (Safdarjung) 3, Jagadhari 2 and Delhi Ridge, Dadupur, Guhla and Rewari 1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Solangnala 3, Dhundhi, Nadaun and Rajgarh 2 each and Arki, Paonta and Sunibhaji 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar 4 and Basoli 3; Punjab: Shahpur Kandi 3; East Rajasthan: Banswara 27, Kushalgarh 20, Kesarpura 18, Dungarpur 16, Sujjangarh 15, Sagwara 14, Bagidora, Cellopot, Galiakot, Ganeshpur, Shergarh and Vejja Dam 13 each, Danpur and Nathdawara 12 each, Kanba 11, Arthuna, Aspur, Bhungra and Dhambola 10 each, Garhi and Loharia 9 each, Ghatol 8, Bisalpur Dam, Raipur and Udaipur 5 each, Mandal and Neem Ka Thana 4 each, Arwar Dam, Hindoli, Lalsot, Matri Kundiya, Raipurpatan and Sharda 3 each and Ajmer and Kota A.P. 1 each, West Rajasthan: Jaisalmer 1; East Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya 8, Chhatnag 6 and Chandradeepghat, Jaunpur and Lucknow 1 each; West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 3 and Hindon and Mathura 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Marora 1.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rain with isolated very heavy falls are likely in south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours and isolated heavy rain is likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, north Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 30: Mainly cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers, one or two may be heavy.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of July 30: Moderate to heavy rain will occur at many places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
