Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 2 and Ghamroor, Kasol and Nagrotasurian 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Bhoond and Patti 1 each, Punjab: Balachaur and Madhopur 3 each and Jalandhar and Shahpur Kandi 1 each, east Rajasthan: Bisalpur and Gangapur city 7 each, Mangrol 6, Atru and Tapukada 5 each, Deoli 3, Behror, Dausa, Galvania, Gangapur, Gulabpura, Laxmangarh, Phagi, Shahpur, Tonk, Thanagaji and Wagen Dam 2 each, Bari, Chandsen, Gopalsagar, Helena, Kotri, Kota A.P., Kishanganj, Karauli, Ramgarh, Rahuwas, Sodawas, Sikrai, Srimadhopur and Todabhim 1 each, west Rajasthan: Jodhpur and Jaswantpura 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Bhatpurwaghat 16, Neemsar 5, Fatehgarh, Kanpur and Raebareilly 4 each, Ballia and Dalmau 3 each, Regoli and Sultanpur 2 each and Basti, Chillaghat, Ghazipur and Palliakalan 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Auraiya 2; Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag 9, Tehri 7, Uttarkashi 5, Haripur 4 and Dehra Dun 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 17: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.
