Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in Punjab and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana and Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Chandigarh and Naraingarh 8 each, Kalka 5, Jagdhari 4, Nilokhheri 3, Panipat 2 and Panchkula 1, Himachal Pradesh: Rajgarh 7, Baijnath and Ghumarwin 6 each, Dharamsala, Kangra, Kasol and Pandoh 5 each, Barsar and Bangana 4 each, Kandaghat, Nahan, Nadaun, Solan and Sujanpurtira 3 each, Arki, Kahu, Solangnala, Shimla and Sundernagar 2 each and Berthin, Bhang, Dhundhi, Guler, Ghamroor, Nagrotasurian and Sunnibhajji 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 4, Anandpursahib, Raya and Rajpura 3 each Amritsar and Nawanshahr 2 each and Adampur, Ludhiana and Patiala 1 each, east Rajasthan: Loharia 3, Danpur and Kushalgarh 2 each and Bagilora, Doongla, Kesharpura, Pipalkhonte and Sujangarh 1 each, west Rajasthan: Barmer 3, east Uttar Pradesh: Palliankalan 4, Dalmau and Shardanagar 2 each and Raebareilly 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Muzzaffarnagar 2, Uttaranchal: Hardwar 5, Dehra Dun, Marora and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell markedly in west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in Haryana and east Rajasthan, fell in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 44.3°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of June 20. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 20. Cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers. Maximum temperature will be around 37°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 20. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Increase in rainfall.
