Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: past 24-hour change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab, rose in Haryana and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45.6°C recorded at Banda (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 14: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/ thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 14 : Mainly clear sky with dust haze. Duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied by squall is likely in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 43°C.
