Sahil’s knock goes in vain

Ludhiana, June 12
An unbeaten knock of 85 not out by Sahil went in vain as Park Lane Club lost by 21 runs against Charanjit Singh Ahluwalia XI in the seventh Chaman Lal Malhotra Cricket Cup Tournament being organised by the Ludhiana District Cricket Association at the Arya College for Boys ground here today.

Charanjit Singh XI won the toss and opted to bat first. They made 221 for 4 in 30 overs. Park Lane Club, despite two fine innings by Sahil (85 n.o) and Nakul (32), could muster 200 runs in 28.5 overs. For Charanjit XI, this was their second win a row while for Park Lane Club, it was second consecutive loss.
