Delhi, April 17 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum
temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir, fell appreciably in Himachal
Pradesh and Uttaranchal, fell in Haryana and changed little elsewhere.
Departures: They were above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar
Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 42.4°C recorded at Banda (Uttar Pradesh). Forecast
valid until the morning of April 19: Rain or thundershowers are
likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and
Uttaranchal and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Isolated
duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in south Rajasthan. Weather will be
mainly dry in the rest of the region. Forecast for Delhi and
neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 19: Mainly clear
sky with dust haze. Maximum temperature will be around 39°C. Farmers
