Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Punjab and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in west Uttar Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10.2°C recorded at Amritsar and Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 28: Rain is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 28: Mainly clear sky. Minimum temperature will be around 15°C.
