Rainfall: Rain or snow has been reported at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Snowfall report: Himachal Pradesh: Patsio 5 cm and Dhundhi 2 cm.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.2°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 10: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 10: Partly cloudy sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 9°C.
