The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.3°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 7: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 7: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 6°C.
