Ahmedabad, November 23
Gujarat care-taker Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who was admitted to Gandhinagar civil hospital yesterday morning after he the complained of chest pain and uneasiness, was put through an ‘angiography’ test this afternoon. The results of the test conducted at the Ahmedabad civil hospital where he was shifted this morning was satisfactory, hospital sources said. UNI

50 Maoists shot
Kathmandu, November 23
At least 50 Maoist rebels were believed dead when Nepal’s army attacked a guerrilla hideout in the west of the kingdom, a newspaper reported today. Officials confirmed the battle that took place yesterday in Lamjung district, about 125 km from the capital, but said they were awaiting details from the remote area. AFP

Gurdev Badal held
Ludhiana, November 23
