Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 9: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 9: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas. Minimum temperature will be around 16°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of November 9: Development of thunderclouds is likely at a few places.
