Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed a little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 37.8°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.4°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 31: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
