Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in Haryana and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.6°C recorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.2°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 27: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
