That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is the spirit. The flesh with all its frailties drags you down. It is the Spirit, which revives and enlivens; the flesh profiteth nothing. Regeneration is accomplished in the human spirit by the Holy Spirit of God. And to be regenerated is to have the divine, eternal life as the new source and new element of a new person. It is this revived spirit that helps one to overcome the world.
